There could only be one explanation for ARod's failures at the plate during the 2012 ALCS: his love for benches. So strong was his love for benches, that he did everything within his power to make sure he was sitting on them. I made stickers that professed his love for sitting and stuck them on benches all around the city of New York. People thought it was hysterical. Unfortunately, hurricane Sandy swooped into the area shortly thereafter with other ideas of its own. :/
